As we traveled back down Vancouver Island we stopped off at different locations on the water,either the lakes or the bay. We had a lovely campsite at Living Forest, in nanaimo near Cedar, it was close to the highway but on the water, the tide really went out and left a huge tidal marsh. The camp ground was large and it really was forestry with very tall trees blocking out a lot of the light, a reason this work is quite cool....

The weather has been perfect and the next day we left for Chemainus and Fullers Lake.
