A couple of days ago we took a drive with Karen and Layne to view Mt Rainier, a volcanic mountain in Washington. The sun was shinning and the snow was high for May. We stopped off at different locations as we travelled  around the mountain. 

I painted this for Karen, as she said she has always wanted a painting of Mt Rainier.

The painting is acrylic on canvas and captures the feeling and look of the day.
