I got started on this painting yesterday afternoon, I set something up quickly that included an old teddy that belonged to our little silkie Amber, she was 18 and she died two years ago. Teddy sits on a Shelf in my Studio space, I need to say good bye to him. So I thought I would do a still life that included him.

This afternoon I continued the painting, an hour into it and the animal welfare league rang asking if we would come and pick a sick cat that we had had a few weeks ago..too many cats and not enough homes. After the cat was picked up and wondering around happily, I got back into the painting. I am worried about the cat as he got attached to us last time. Oh well you do what you can.
